In 2021, Massachusetts passed the next Generation Roadmap Act, requiring the Commonwealth to cut greenhouse gas emissions at least 50% by 2030. We are in serious danger of falling short, leaving low-income, immigrant, and non-white communities to deal with the worst impacts of the climate crisis. At the same time, rising power costs are squeezing families across the state and forcing them to make impossible choices.
