In February, the Massachusetts House of Representatives passed an energy bill that included devastating cuts to energy efficiency programs while doing nothing to rein in utility profiteering by gas companies. 

We mobilized! We made calls, rallied, and sent messages – and the State Senate heard us. The Senate’s energy affordability bill protected MassSave and significantly reduced the costly Gas System Enhancement Program. 

But the fight is not over. 

This month, members of the House and Senate are meeting to determine the version that will go to the Governor’s desk.
