In order to do what the climate crisis demands of us, we have to find stories of a livable future, stories of popular power, stories that motivate people to do what it takes to make the world we need. – Climate Activist & Writer Rebecca Solnit
Dayenu’s visionary writing workshop will allow participants to do just that — to write the stories that need to be told of the abundant world we are building. In this interactive virtual workshop, participants will flex their radical imaginations, explore the modality of midrash (untold stories based in Torah), and ground in Jewish wisdom for a green, just, life-giving future. We will turn to the text of Jewish tradition and of our lives, asking what new possibilities exist and what our dreams might contain if we let them be their boldest selves.
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute writing to be compiled into various forms of media to share broadly.
