Jacob Schatz is a rabbinical student in his final year at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at American Jewish University in Los Angeles, and a rabbinic intern at IKAR. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jacob comes from a long line of educators and musicians; he attained a PhD in Developmental Psychology at NYU, and loves to play and write music in his spare time. As a Climate Torah Rabbinic Fellow, Jacob looks forward to blending ancient Jewish text and wisdom with musical expression in the ongoing endeavor of spiritual adaptation.
