Avital is a community organizer and Jewish educator based in Oakland, unceded Lisjan Ohlone land. Prior to joining the Dayenu team, she led statewide voter outreach campaigns mobilizing frontline communities with Communities for a Better Environment. She also brings years of experience and fluency in the Bay Area Jewish landscape and oversaw community engagement and social justice programs at both Berkeley Hillel and The Kitchen SF. She is deeply inspired by Dayenu’s vision of transformative political change alongside a grounded Jewish spirituality.

When not working, Avital can be found studying Talmud, biking, swimming and dancing around the East Bay.
