Since taking office, President Trump has bulldozed the White House, blowtorched federal climate policy, and done everything he can to suppress the vote.
Yet on November 4, millions of Americans cast their ballots in free, fair, and peaceful elections – including thousands of climate voters mobilized directly by Dayenu supporters.
We can say that democracy and elections are still holding strong. And we’re happy to say that we played a part. Our work to get out the vote this year included:
- 17 phonebank shifts (in person and online)
- 218 callers at phonebank shifts
- 100,859 dials
- 6709 conversations with voters in Georgia, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and more
We spoke with climate-concerned voters who don’t always get to the polls, providing them with vital information to cast their ballots.
And we had fun doing it! Our phonebanks featured music, thoughtful kavanot, bingo, costumes, and more.
We can all gather to fight back against authoritarianism and restore our democracy to center the interests of the people – not big money and polluting corporations.
Please join us in the next few weeks for more opportunities to be together in song and joyous action.
