Getting out the climate vote with Chutzpah

Activists report back on reaching out to climate voters

Chutzpah 2024 is off to a roaring start, engaging hundreds of Jewish activists in the campaign to mobilize climate voters to get to the polls in this critical election.

The launch event in early September featured inspiration from Stacey Abrams, strategy from Nathaniel Stinnett (of Environmental Voter Project), words of Jewish wisdom from Rabbi Jennie Rosenn (founder and CEO of Dayenu), music from Dodie Whitaker, and many moments of connection and outreach.

Since then, at twice-weekly phonebank shifts, activists from Dayenu and many partner organizations have reached out to thousands of infrequent climate voters in key states. Each shift features an inspiring kavanah (words of Jewish wisdom), a wonderful musician, instructions in phonebanking (for those who need it), and connecting with voters in key states.

Don’t miss your chance to take action! Many more phonebank shifts — and canvassing shifts! — coming up until November 5 strikes.
