We are all wondering: How do we turn this ship around?
A far-right, climate-denying, fossil-fuel-pandering trifecta has taken over at the federal level and is taking a sledgehammer to decades of climate protections and progress.
It’s devastating.
But: we still have room for action. In states, cities, and towns across the U.S., we can make climate progress. In 2025, we’ll be working locally to advance crucial policies that will hold polluters accountable, accelerate the clean energy revolution, and ensure it reaches those who need it most.
And, we’ll be getting out the climate vote at all levels of government – because we need leaders who have the chutzpah to take action on climate change.
Join us this spring with Chutzpah, our non-partisan get-out-the-vote (GOTV) campaign.
There are 400 elections across the country this year – from city halls to State Houses in every state – and each one offers an opportunity to mobilize voters who care about climate but often don’t get to the polls.
We’ve already fired up the Chutzpah GOTV effort this year – and we’re seeing impressive results. In one phonebank shift last week, six of us made over 3600 calls and connected with 163 climate voters for a special election in Pennsylvania’s 36 Senate District. When the results rolled in? The election was decided by a razor thin margin of only 526 votes.
Which shows that every vote counts – and every call we make, especially in smaller elections, matters for voter turnout.
These phonebank shifts are all part of Chutzpah, Dayenu’s non-partisan get-out-the-vote (GOTV) campaign. We’re following up on our efforts in 2020, 2022, and 2024, and aiming to mobilize thousands of voters this year.

Every phonebank shift makes the best and most strategic use of your time and effort. Dayenu partners with the Environmental Voter Project to harness its superior targeting and technology, identifying and mobilizing climate-concerned voters in crucial elections.
As with everything we do, we bring Jewish spirit to this work. Each shift features Jewish music and wisdom. And we make it simple: a little bit of training, a lot of support, and vital connections.
Make no mistake: We’re still swimming upstream. But this is how we get somewhere. Working together to turn out people who care about a just and livable future.
