Swaying Public Opinion 101: How We Win Climate, Jobs, And Justice in New York

Moving from the halls of power to the public square, we will celebrate and debrief our March lobby visits and then cover how to write an effective opinion piece or letter to the editor in support of #ClimateJobsJustice legislation.

Using this communications tactic demonstrates to electeds that Jewish communities prioritize climate action and climate justice, and that we expect them to act.

Join us on Monday, March 25, 2024 @ 7pm ET as we explore how to ground our writing in our own voices and personal experiences, and steps to take to get our pieces published.

This event is being hosted in partnership with JCAN-NYC.

ABOUT The A TIME TO BUILD CAMPAIGN

Last year, Congress passed the largest climate bill in U.S. history

Thanks to public pressure from millions of people like you who raised their voice for climate action, billions of dollars are now available to build solar panels, electrify homes, cars, businesses, and schools, and create millions of good, green jobs in communities across the country.

But we know this is just the start – and the gains we have made are already under threat.

Take action for Climate, Jobs and Justice with us in New York to make sure that the investments we fought so hard for will become reality and reach the communities across the state.
