Talia Young is a poet, community organizer and second year rabbinical student at Hebrew College. Currently based in Boston, Talia also calls the Bay Area, the Twin Cities, and the forests of Connecticut home. Believing in the power of community to create transformation on the smallest and largest scales, Talia has spent the last decade facilitating spaces for connection—as an outdoor educator at Teva, Program Director at Eden Village West, a volunteer climate justice organizer with Sunrise Bay Area, and a freelance poetry teacher. Talia twice represented Macalester at the College National Poetry Slam, ranking fifth in the nation with her team in 2014. She is thrilled to join Dayenu and support the movement for climate justice with art and other spiritual resources. She loves spontaneous kitchen conversations and learning from the wisdom of trees.
