Conrad Becker is a double major in Jewish Studies and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He believes that firsthand experience with nature is the first step towards environmentalism. For the past two summers, Conrad has led all-ages nature education events at the Waterloo Recreation Area for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. He is also a Hebrew language tutor with his local congregation in Madison. When not working or studying, Conrad can be found playing banjo, hanging out with his small flock of chickens, or in the woods foraging for mushrooms.
