SUMMARY:Chutzpah Phonebank - Mobilize Climate Voters in Georgia
DESCRIPTION:Join Dayenu’s Chutzpah 2025 campaign to organize for a just and livable future! We are partnering with the Environmental Voter Project to get out the vote this fall. \nWe’re turning out climate voters in Georgia\, because we know that off-cycle elections\, like the ones happening this year\,  result in lower voter turnout. When fewer voters turn out\, elections can result in local and state governments that don’t reflect the community – even as these elections have an enormous impact on daily life and implementing climate policy. \nWe’ll ground ourselves in Jewish wisdom\, go over the scripts and phone banking system we’ll be using\, then get to work calling voters. \nIf you’ve already been trained by Dayenu or EVP\, you can jump right into calling. If this is your first time phonebanking\, no worries; we’ll train you before you start calling. All you need to participate is a phone (landline or cell)\, web-enabled computer or tablet\, and yourself. \nAutomatic live captioning will be provided in Zoom.
